Make A Joyful Noise, Inc.  was founded in 2005 and is a non-profit charitable organization which seeks to assist other charities by raising awareness for their cause and funds to support them.  Make A Joyful Noise also seeks to support the ARTS-in-Education and assist schools in poor districts in raising funds for their music programs.  We encourage the students however to be mindful of their community around them, at home and abroad, and to also donate to charitable causes they are passionate about. 

This has been done with great success at the Central Islip High School with their director Mr. John Anthony.  In years past they have supported many charities while keeping their music program a vital asset to their school and community.  Their students are highly motivated to sell tickets, get donations for the chinese auction, refreshments, etc. and on top of that they perform at the event.  They also include talented guest artists to perform.   Their concerts often sell out.

Make A Joyful Noise was born from a prayer inspired by its founders' battle with breast cancer.  Simply asking God to use her life in any way that can make her plight worth something special.  He simply answered her to 'Make A Joyful Noise'.  The concert was completely laid out in her mind, spiritually inspired, and she has followed it exactly as it was given to her that day.  Including the candle lighting ceremony with the 'Blessing of the Families'.  Believing that although one of us may be sick or suffering, we all suffer with them in some way and are in need of prayer and comfort.

 Make a joyful noise to the LORD, all you lands!
 ² Serve the LORD with gladness;
         Come before His presence with singing.
 ³ Know that the LORD, He is God;
         It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves;
         We are His people and the sheep of His pasture.
